Health Care & LIFE

The way these articles relate to my topic, which is down syndrome is in order for women to see if their baby were to have down syndrome they would need to get a genetic screening which does cost a lot of money that not many people can afford, so the mother would need health care in order to pay for this screening. And this would fall under health care being a human right. As of healthcare being a human right or not I am somewhat back and forth with my opinions, because yes, I do believe that we may need some support, but I dont think that our ENTIRE medical expenses should come out of another persons pocket, because that is not fair, unless of course that person offers to give their money to help pay for anothers health insurance. And when I read the articles "A Good casr for Universal Health Care" By: Brian Young and "Health Care is not a Right" By: Jacob G. Hornberger Jacob persuayed me more because his argument sounded more fact based than Young's and Young's sort of reminded me of a sob story, like he wanted people to feel bad for him, but honestly I think that if he was in a political debate a sob story is not going to win everyone over. Instead you need to come with te facts and evidence, thatll pursway your audience and the jury.
